Our background

IPD, a privately owned company, whose founders have over 45 years’ experience in developing and implementing projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.

IPD’s former name was West Africa Projects Ltd. (WESPRO). WESPRO has grown over the years and hence changed its name to IPD due to its expanding activities in Central Africa as well as West Africa, with offices in Europe and Western and Central Africa. Our local knowledge now spans the Africa continent.

What we do

IPD specialises in the management and execution of turnkey projects in emerging markets in a diverse range of industries, from communications systems to power distribution and agriculture.

IPD assists its clients in establishing structures and systems to control complex projects, confidently meeting the demands and challenges of an emerging market place.

With our in-depth knowledge of local regulations we appreciate that it may take time for planning protocols to be fulfilled. IPD’s service spans the full life cycle of a project, using proven planning methods to avoid unnecessary delays and meet important quality standards and cost projections.

We offer the full range of project management resources, namely financing, engineering, procurement and construction (FEPC).

IPD’s hands-on approach combines meticulous preparation with sensitivity, from initial research to obtaining relevant approvals and overseeing construction. But that’s not all we do. After a project is completed we ensure its continued success through ongoing training and support, where applicable.
